Introduction
Merlin is the safety layer for AI agents trading onchain. Rules your AI agent can't break.
Merlin is in the build stage
The website and dashboard run in preview mode today. The check API, live contract scans and SDK are next. Everything on these pages marked as planned is not live yet.
What is Merlin?
AI agents now trade real money onchain, and almost nothing checks a trade before it happens. One bug, one bad prompt or one risky Uniswap v4 hook can drain a wallet in minutes.
Merlin sits between your agent and the chain. Before every trade, the agent asks Merlin. Merlin checks the trade against the rules you set and against the token's contract, then answers Allow or Block with a reason.
How it works
- You connect your wallet and set rules for your agent: a daily spend cap, a max trade size, a token allowlist and a kill switch.
- Before every trade, your agent sends the token, amount and wallet to Merlin.
- Merlin checks your rules, today's spending and the token's contract.
- Merlin answers Allow or Block with a reason, and logs the decision in your dashboard.
What Merlin never does
- It never holds, moves or touches your funds.
- It never asks for your private key or seed phrase.
- It never tells you what to buy or sell. It enforces the rules you choose.
